Poshmark has launched a new Seller Updates hub (think a blog landing page), designed to give sellers a single place to stay informed about platform changes that impact how closets are managed and how sales are fulfilled.

This new updates page will be refreshed regularly, and January’s changes include feature returns, policy updates, and several important tests that sellers should understand early.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s new — and what it means for your business.

Why This Update Matters

These changes signal a clear direction from Poshmark:

  • Improved buyer trust
  • Faster fulfillment
  • Cleaner seller workflows
  • Less noise, more actionable information

For sellers, this means process and consistency matter more than ever

*List Perfectly’s Take – I think this signals that Poshmark is becoming a more professional sellers marketplace

What’s New on Poshmark

Bulk Sharing Is Back

Bulk Sharing returned last month and is now fully available again. This feature helps sellers:

  • Organize their closets more efficiently
  • Share listings in batches instead of one by one

For high-volume sellers, this restores a key time-saving workflow but with List Perfectly sharing can be basically automatic and hands free.

*List Perfectly’s Take – Do you think sharing will go away? Will Posh change the way it fundamentally does its own search? I think it will be changing!

“Find New Poshers” Removed

The People / Find New Poshers section has been removed to simplify the experience for new users.

As a result:

  • The “Follow New People” requirement is no longer needed to achieve Posh Ambassador status

This reduces busywork and removes a requirement that didn’t directly impact sales.

New Seller Cancellation Policy

Poshmark is introducing a stricter policy to encourage reliable fulfillment.

  • Sellers who cancel more than 3% of orders within a rolling 90-day period may have their accounts placed in a restricted state
  • Buyer-requested cancellations and bundle-related cancellations are excluded

What this means:
Once an item sells, it’s a commitment. Accurate inventory, fast shipping, and clear processes are no longer optional.

*List Perfectly’s Take – I think this is GREAT! The more “professional” Poshmark becomes the better it is for all sellers, IMHO.

Combined Orders (Coming Soon)

Buyers will soon be able to:

  • Bundle items purchased from the same seller within 24 hours
  • Combine purchases across live shows and catalog listings

This long-requested feature may reduce shipping friction and increase multi-item sales.

Streamlined In-App Notifications

Poshmark is decluttering the News tab to make important updates easier to find.

  • Share and Follow updates will move into their own sections
  • The All tab will focus on actionable, seller-relevant notifications

This should make it easier to spot time-sensitive tasks like offers, sales, and shipping needs.

Bulk Upload Improvements

Smart Sell is now available inside the Bulk Upload tool.

Key change:

  • CSV files are now required for bulk uploads, as they reduce errors

This update supports automation and consistency for sellers managing larger inventories.

“Hot Deals” Label Expanded

The Hot Deals label has expanded to all users after strong early results.

  • Appears on select categories and price points
  • Designed to help buyers identify strong value listings

Sellers may see increased visibility on qualifying items.

Order Shipping Supplies In-App

U.S. sellers can now order Ground Advantage shipping supplies directly in the app.

  • Rolling out gradually this month
  • Sellers will receive an email once access is enabled

This removes one more step from the shipping workflow.

What Poshmark Is Testing

These features are currently in testing and may roll out gradually, change, or not launch at all. So be on the lookout!

Portrait (Vertical) Photo Layouts in Search

Poshmark is testing tall, vertical images in search results.

  • Intended to make listing creation easier
  • If a full platform change happens, advance notice will be provided

*List Perfectly’s Take – Poshmark has already messed around with this. Hopefully we can take the photos anyway we wish.

Shipping Reminders

To support faster fulfillment, Poshmark is testing:

  • SMS shipping reminders (opt-in only)
  • Closet banners reminding sellers to ship

This reinforces the platform’s focus on reliability and buyer trust.

*List Perfectly’s Take – As professional resellers this is not an issue BUT anything that will make Poshmark sellers give customers a better buyer experience is a WIN for everyone!

Addressing Inactive Listings

Poshmark is testing ways to reduce buyer frustration caused by:

  • Unanswered offers
  • Unshipped purchases

These tests aim to reward sellers who keep listings active, accurate, and up to date.

Closet Personalization

A more personalized closet browsing experience is being tested.

  • Listing order may change based on buyer behavior
  • All available listings will still remain visible

This could impact how buyers discover items, especially in larger closets.

Key Takeaways for Sellers

  • Shipping reliability matters more than ever
  • Cancellations can now directly impact account standing
  • Automation and bulk tools continue to improve
  • Buyer experience is driving platform decisions

The sellers who thrive will be the ones with:

  • Clean processes
  • Accurate inventory
  • Consistent listing and shipping habits

List Perfectly’s Final Thought

These updates aren’t about doing more — they’re about doing things correctly and consistently.

If your systems are solid, these changes should feel supportive — not stressful.

Staying informed is now part of being a professional Poshmark seller.

Happy Selling!
