eBay is beginning new initiatives specifically for “Best Offer” listings in the U.S. to help eliminate the problem of unpaid items. The elimination of all unpaid items is their ultimate goal, so this is a significant step in that direction.
Charges and finances
In terms of charges and finances, eBay is extending the per-order fee credit to take into account times when we give a buyer a complete refund. Additionally, they’re making it simpler for our listings to stand out by making the “Scheduled” listing upgrade and the “Buy It Now” listing upgrade for auction-format listings FREE for all sellers.
International shipping
Along with all of this, eBay is now offering international shipping, which will simplify international shipping for U.S.-based sellers.
The best part, though? There are no shipping costs abroad; eBay is waiving the international fee for sellers and they will handle the international logistics at no cost!
