Calling all trading card enthusiasts! If you’re looking to save money while shipping your cards, you’ll want to take a look at Mercari’s latest shipping option. They’re offering prepaid labels for USPS First Class Envelopes, and it’s exclusively for trading cards. With this new option, you can ship your cards with tracking and Mercari Shipping Protection for up to $20 for a low cost.
If you’re a seller, creating a listing with a First Class Envelope is easy.
Simply create or edit your listing, weigh your item, and enter the weight and dimensions.
Then, select the carrier service “USPS First Class Envelope.” And if you’re a buyer, look for listings that offer First Class Envelope as a shipping option. If you find a listing that you want to purchase that doesn’t offer it, you can message the seller and ask them to update the shipping.
Keep an eye on weight limits
It’s important to note that the packaged trading cards must weigh less than the selected label weight limit (1, 2, or 3 oz). If they do weigh less, consider adding a piece of card stock and/or clear packaging for added protection. And make sure to weigh the envelope again before sealing or shipping to ensure it’s still beneath the weight limit.
To avoid surcharges, be sure to measure your envelope before sending it. The weight limit is up to 3 oz, the length should be between 5 and 11 ½ inches, the width should be between 3 ½ and 6 ⅛ inches, and the thickness should be up to ¼ inch with no lumps.
With this new shipping option, you can keep more money in your pocket while still ensuring that your cards arrive safely and securely. So, head on over to Mercari and check out their First Class Envelope option for trading cards. Happy selling and buying!
